Fairfield is a quiet logging town that is slowly fading from memory.
When a strange object falls from the sky and crashes down in the woods,
it is one of the most exciting events to happen in recent history. Two
young boys decide to track down the fallen object, and unwittingly
unleash a terrible darkness.

school dropout, finds himself thrust into the leadership of a ragtag
group of survivors that includes a juvenile delinquent, an elderly
shopkeeper, a young teacher, and his own mother. Together, this unlikely
team must battle for not only their survival, but for the future of the
human race. As they struggle to free the town, they will discover a
horrifying truth about the nature of their enemy, and will have to face a
terror from beyond the stars.
