Many hopes and dreams were created overnight as block after block of nearly identical but inexpensive houses, with ample yards for swings and trees and picnic tables, created a new concept in living for former apartment dwellers in city life. The American Dream was suddenly in reach for everyone and it was 1968.That was then.....Topaz had arrived and now it is 1975.
